About
the Carnival
Farnham Carnival
has been a feature of the town's
summer scene for several decades.
Organised now by two Farnham "Service"
Clubs, The Lions and The Hedgehogs,
the objective remains to provide
an event in which the community
can participate and which they
can enjoy. Any money made, over
and above expenses, has been welcomed
and used wisely for local charitable
causes, but this has never been
the driving force. Above all,
we have encouraged the youth of
the town to take a leading part
in the festivities.
Farnham Town Council has also
been very supportive in this venture.
The Carnival comprises two distinct,
but complementary, events; Castle
Street Fayre and the Procession.
The opportunities for participation
in, and enjoyment of, Carnival
have been steadily enhanced over
the past few years.
