Plus illuminated specials from 5pm

the light railway
(steam or diesel hauled depending
on conditions) and meet Santa in his

Due to ongoing animal movement restrictions
following the outbreaks of foot &
mouth and bluetongue, we cannot guarantee
that all the animals will actually
be present this year.

for adults which includes a mince

Santa's
Grotto at Birdworld in Farnham
From the 1st of December
We are once again pleased to invite
you to our Christmas Grotto. To
begin the experience you will meet
some of our friendly farm animals
before you enter a magical world
full of animated characters in a
variety of winter wonderland settings.
As you walk through the different
scenes, you can enjoy friendly banter
with the impish elves before your
children meet Santa to receive their
very own presents.

for a present, a complimentary mince
pie and hot fruit punch awaits!

Mid
Hants Railway Watercress Line
in Arlesford
Santa Special trains run on the following
dates in December:
1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 20th,
21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Enjoy the magic of a steam train ride
with Santa on the Watercress Line
this December.
Choose between departures from Alton,
where the train runs to Ropley and
returns to Alton; or Alresford where
the train runs to Medstead & Four
Marks and back to Alresford. Either
round trip takes just over an hour
to complete.
During the journey, Santa and his
helpers will visit everyone at their
seat and each child (aged 1-16yrs)
and baby (under 1 yr) will receive
a present in a delightful souvenir
Santa sack. No queueing out in the
cold!
All the grown-ups receive wine and
a mince pie (soft drink option is
available.) Children will also receive
a soft drink.
All Santa Special Trains are steam
hauled.
Shops at both Alresford and Alton
stations for those perfect Christmas
gifts!
It is advised that wheelchair visitors
start their Santa Specials journey
at Alresford station, using Coach
C.
Entry to Santa Specials is by advance
booked travel ticket only. Site/platform
only tickets, discount vouchers -
including Tesco 'Days Out' vouchers,
or intermediate fares are NOT PERMITTED
for this event.

Santa’s
Grotto at the Friary Shopping
Centre in Guildford
Santa will be at The Friary Shopping
Centre every Wednesday to Sunday until
Christmas Eve to hear all your Christmas
wishes.
You’ll find Santa’s magical
Candy House Grotto on level 1, opposite
HMV. Entry to Santa’s grotto
is £3.50 per child with a luxury
wrapped gift. For a special memento
of your visit with Santa, get a framed
5x7 photo for £4.50 or for £7
you get a framed digital photo and
a luxury wrapped gift.
Don’t forget to post your wishes
to Santa!
Santa’s special post box is
located in The Friary Shopping Centre
near Bhs and all children who post
their Christmas wishes by 16th December
will receive a special reply from
the man himself. To make your letter
even more special, you can collect
blank Santa letter paper from Santa’s
Grotto or the Customer Relations desk.

Our ever popular Santa is here again
this year, every day from December
1st. Initially he will be here from
11am to 4:30pm although as we get
towards Christmas these times extend
to 9:45am - 5:30pm!
The cost of visiting Santa is £4.95
per child in addition to the farm
entry prices. This includes a trip
to Santa's workshop in the Christmas
trailer and a gift.
You cannot book in advance to see
Santa. However when you arrive and
pay to go on the farm you will be
allocated a time slot to see Santa
and then you can enjoy the farm
and all of the facilities while
waiting for your slot to come up,
so no queuing.

Princes Mead in Farnborough
Santa's Arrival will take place
in Princes Mead on Saturday 24th
November. There will be entertainment
throughout the day starting at 11
a.m. including Homer Simpson, a
Steelpan Player and free face painting.
At 4.30 p.m. Peter Gordan, 96.4
Eagle Radio's breakfast DJ will
introduce the Mayor and Mayoress
of Rushmoor, characters from the
Princes Hall panto and, of course,
Santa Claus. The Christmas lights
will be switched on and children
can visit Santa in his Grotto free
of charge then and every weekend
up to Christmas
Santa will be in his grotto every
weekend before Christmas from the
24th November from 10am - 4pm
